There is no substitute for the love of Allah
Love for Allah is a characteristic of true belief
Allah (SWT) states in His Glorious Book:

And those who believe have intense love for Allah. (2:165)

Allah describes an attribute of the believers thus: they are extreme in their love for Him. In fact, they are mad in their love for Him. With the construct “those who believe,” Allah challenges the believers by describing a characteristic of true belief. It is as if His verse calls out, “O ye who claim to believe, who profess that the light [nur] of faith is in your hearts, know that the true believers are intense in their love for Allah.”
